(medley) 5:52 trad. arr. P.Dooley except 'Dans Plinn' c. Stéphan Lemoigne

Medley is the word for it, we begin with an air and a couple of Gavottes from two Breton harpers, Violaine Mayor and Tristan Le Govic respectively. This is followed by an extract from a Dans Plinn composed for the harp by Stéphan Lemoigne. I learned this from the playing of Katrien Delavier, a gifted colleague who sadly passed away in 1998.
To conclude, two Laridés from that I learned many years ago from fiddle player and founder member of the traditional Breton group Storvan Frédéric ‘Sam’ Samzun during one of his then frequent visits to North Clare.
